Inspired Design: Refreshingly Modern Take on Palm Beach Living

It is a Design where we can affect the entire thing holistically, bringing layers to modern design in a way that’s warm and inviting. There is a Distinctive Stamp on the Interiors. This means tailoring the spaces for hosting family, including young grandchildren, while creating a Palm Beach feel without the expected of Lilly Pullitzer - it is a hard line to walk but it is perfect.

Putting aside florals and pastels, the room captures the spirit with crisp lines and canvases by buzzy artists. Indeed, the home is infused with a welcoming vibe that balances toes-in-the-sand informality—reflected in the soft textures and beachy palette of corals, blues, and warm neutrals—with an elevated mix of vintage and contemporary furnishings, refined finishes, and eye-catching art. Floors are sanded, bleached, and restained a shade lighter; walls were upholstered or glazed in Venetian plaster.

The Sitting Room, (pictured) is furnished with a wool-clad sofa, trim 1950s French armchairs, and a custom club chair, all arrayed around a milky glass table and the wall sculpture that resembles a rippling ocean surface above the mantel.

Soothing, natural and ambient is the mood you’re going for in a modern Palm Beach home, so sticking to a simple colour palette is essential. White is a hallmark colour of modern coastal style as it spreads natural light and works beautifully with other ocean-inspired tones. Creams and beiges are excellent accent tones, while you can’t go wrong with muddy greens and muted blues that work to bring the colours of the ocean into the home.
