Inspired Design: Art Deco Inspired Interiors
From its outset, Art Deco was influenced by the bold geometric forms of Cubism and the Vienna Secession; the bright colors of Fauvism and of the Ballets Russes; the updated craftsmanship of the furniture of the eras of Louis Philippe I and Louis XVI; and the exotic styles of China and Japan, India, and Persia.
The main characteristics of Art Deco are
Smooth wall surface.
Sharp edged, linear appearance.
Stylized decorative elements using geometrical forms, zigzags, chevrons.
Low relief decorative panels.
Stepped or set back front facade.
Strips of windows with decorative spandrels.

This beautiful and elegant dining armchair features a curved silhouette finished with glossy mocha parchment raised on four conical feet accented with steel ferules. Both sides are accented with a single tear-drop piece that follows the profile of the chair and opens delicately towards the front to create a support for the arms.
