Mid-Century Cherry Wood and Brass Italian Chests of Drawers, 1970

$8,900.00

Beautiful commode in characteristic Italian style of Paolo Buffa, Vittorio Dassi and Osvaldo Borsani. Detailed shape of both the body and the legs. Structure in cherry wood and stained beech wood, with two large curved drawers. The top is an irregular rectangle with a curved front side. As a result, the drawers have a curved front. Its design is very particular. Moreover, as we can see from the photos, the legs placed along four corners are detached from the body and touch it only with two supports. Drawers can be opened with brass keys. Original structure for this dresser of the second half of the century. Italian is the structure and the shape.
