This is a richly carved 18th Century Swedish Gustavian period painted bench, newly upholstered in linen. There is carved egg and dart detail on the seat frame and carved rosettes above round, tapered and fluted legs adorned with acanthus leaves. Chalky Gustavian gray-white paint finish.
